Updated Employment Eligibility Verification Form I-9
Employers who hire employees to be paid wages must have the newly hired employee complete the revised I-9 Form dated 8/1/2023 issued by the Department of Homeland Security. Employers retain & store the form for 3 years after the date of hire or for 1 year after employment is terminated, whichever is later.
